Community Voices to Improve and Sustain Nutrition Outcomes abridged

Located in northeastern Uganda, Karamoja is one of the fifteen sub-regions of Uganda. Despite being
the least populated region, Karamoja faces numerous chronic social, political and environmental
constraints, which have dragged its economic development. With financial support from a private donor (The Conrad Stiftung), WHH conducted the CAN in Moroto, Napak and Nakapiririt districts of Karamoja in September 2025. The study aimed to understand the nutrition situation, including outcomes, drivers and supportive structures in the target areas, aligning interventions with prevailing community needs.
